Sept 19th : Grilled Unagi w/ green seaweed and Japanese rice

Ricecooker returned after a month of absence and this time another roommate favorite dish which she did it entirely on her own. Her creation consisted of marinated grilled Unagi, green seaweed and of course, a little bit of carb, Japanese rice with a sprinkle of wasabi and dried seaweed.
It is only fair that this dish is taken with a more feminine timepiece, the BG-184. This dish is also dedicated to my dad wishing him a "Happy Belated Birthday" !!!!!

This is how it looked like after spending some time in the oven and before it was cut half.

The complete dish.

Back by popular demand from roommate, another pork-chop edition is forked out. But this time, other reinforcement it being added.

But first, introducing the pork chops in stack.

The G5500 was there in the kitchen to help me out with the time.

This last picture shows what will go wrong if you do not know how to cook a steak. The steak curled up and I have no idea what happened. Roommate had a great idea and she stuffed it with the rice and potato salad and Voila !!!!!!

July 21st : Spicy Prawn Noodles

Opened the freezer today and discovered frozen prawns hiding behind those frozen pizzas and was thinking what to do with them. Took a look at the dry cabinet and found leftover noodles and in the fridge, there were some vegetables that are about going bad. I thought of a quick solution and decided to mix them up together and came up with Spicy Prawn Noodles with my trusty GW1500 to stamp the the time and date of the dish.

Noodles were prepared first and a little close-up.

Then, green vegetables were added.

Now, we got prawns, egg, and pork meatball to decorate the rest of the empty space.

Last but not least, the spicy soup were added to complete tonight's dish.

June 22nd : Spaghetti meatball w/ mushroom red sauce

Took back the kitchen today and decided to go light today. Well, not exactly light but on a smaller portion. Today's entrée is composed based on what I found in the cabinet and in the refrigerator. It was the easiest and the fastest meal to cook and to prepare. The hardest part preparing this entrée is when setting up the display model for the photo session. The mudman is a wonderful companion and once

June 21st : Braised Three-layer Pork (Peanut Rice Ball w/ Red Bean Base)

Sous chef brought a huge three-layer pork (meat, fat, and skin) into the kitchen yesterday and marinated it with salt and decided to take over the kitchen. Sous did most of the cooking while I prepared the ingredients. Cutting the huge piece of pork is not easy as I expected. The cleaver I used was not razor sharp enough to thinly slice the pork like I wanted. Again, the G9000 Mudman is responsible for the time stamp.

A close-up of the "three layer"

The last dish is a dessert: Peanut Rice Ball with Red Bean Base.
This dessert is dedicated to a very good friend of mine living in 94040. All the best wishes to her and her significant other and also to a little girl whom I miss dearly !!!
